Michael Z. Mann
Michael Z. Mann focuses his practice on family law, landlord–tenant matters, civil litigation, real estate, and estate planning and administration. He is known for his thoughtful approach to client advocacy and his commitment to guiding individuals and families through complex legal matters.
Michael grew up in Middlesex County, New Jersey, and attended Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy in Elizabeth. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick in 2016, majoring in criminal justice with a minor in political science. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Newark in 2019 and has been admitted to practice law in New Jersey since 2019.
While attending Rutgers Law School, Michael gained valuable experience as a clinical intern with the Rutgers Law Child Advocacy Clinic, where he provided representation to children in child abuse and neglect matters in Essex County. His work also included assisting in administrative hearings and proceedings involving public benefits, education, immigration, and medical and mental health issues. During law school, he was also elected Treasurer of the Jewish Law Students Association.
Following graduation, Michael served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence Maron, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part from 2019 to 2020. During this time, he also volunteered as a co-coach of the Passaic County Technical Institute Mock Trial Team, mentoring students in legal advocacy and trial preparation.
Michael remains committed to community service and access to justice. Since 2020, he has volunteered with the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project, assisting victims of domestic violence. In recognition of his professional accomplishments and growing reputation within the legal community, he was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2025.
